- Blog posts from the Blog plugin are a new kind of page, as in the Omeka S module: a Blog posts template (created on upgrade) with the post's title, excerpt, author, date, category and featured image, at
/og-image/blog_post/<id>. Drafts, posts waiting for review and scheduled posts have none until they are published. Sites that chose which kinds get images have blog posts turned on by the upgrade; untick them under Settings to keep the post's featured image instead.

First version for Omeka Classic, the counterpart of OgImages 1.0 for Omeka S.
- Sharing images for every public page: the home page, items, collections, files, exhibits, exhibit pages, simple pages and search results, at
/og-image/<kind>/<id>, withog:image, its size and type, andtwitter:image. Private records, unpublished pages and private exhibits have none. - Templates per kind of page, one of them the default, created on install from a built-in layout; add, duplicate, make default and delete them.
- The visual editor of the Omeka S module: text, image, rectangle and line layers; image fit, tints, fades, rotation and shadows; six style presets filled in with each kind's variables; the layers as JSON; and a live preview of a real record (the newest at first, or any by ID, or a random one), filled in as the page opens.
- Variables for Classic records: Dublin Core title, description, creator, date and type, item types, collections and item counts, file types, exhibit covers and credits, the first image of an exhibit page, simple page excerpts and search words; with
truncate, upper, loweranddefaultfilters. - Drawn with GD and cached in
files/og-images, drawn again when the record or the template changes, or after a set number of days; image addresses carry a version so networks refetch. Files of the site are read from disk, others (cloud storage) over HTTP. - Theme integration: on Vitrine, Confetti, Plinth and Overprint the image goes into the Theme Engine's sharing tags (
theme_engine_share_imagefilter); on other themes OG Images writes the tags itself. Kinds of page can be turned off, and the theme's own image is used.
