Module Management


The RefBytes Platform Manager allows you to easily install and update community modules. It also allows you to upload and manage your own.  


Directory Modules 

The RefBytes Platform Manager maintains a list of community modules that can be easily installed on each of your sites.

Navigate to the Sites menu item

From the Sites list click on the site where you would like to install a community module.

a. Navigate to the Available Modules tab

b. Select the box next to the modules you would like to install

c. Clicking "Save changes" will install the selected modules to your site

Upgrading Modules

Once a module has been installed, module versions can be managed through the Modules submenu. 

Custom Modules

Navigate to the Modules menu item

From here you can manage your own custom modules.

Add a new module

Click the 'New module' button to add a new custom module. You'll be prompted for the platform type, a friendly name for the module and the Directory name that the module will be installed into.

Add a new version

After adding the necessary module information, you can add your first module version which requires a version name and the zipped module.

Click 'Create' to add the new version

Once uploaded the new module and version will be available to install in your sites from the Site editing page.
