A Pull Quote shows a quotation in large type, with an attribution that can link to the item it comes from (an oral history, a letter, a newspaper).
Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Source (item) | Optional. The attribution links to this item within the exhibit. |
| Quotation | The words quoted, as the block text. |
| Attribution | Who said or wrote it. With a source item and no attribution, the item's title is used. |
| Source link | An address for a source that is not an item; also set as the quotation's cite. |
| Alignment | Left or centered. |
Without an attribution or a source, the theme's own convention applies: a last short paragraph in the quotation is shown smaller, as the attribution.
On the public site
The block is the theme's figure.v-pullquote with a <blockquote> and, when there is an attribution, a <figcaption>. An empty quotation prints nothing.
